TAISABAKI
Grading in Isami Ryu is not simply a matter of how many lessons you have attended or how long you have held a grade.
We look at the whole picture from your preformance in classes, effort and dedication. Listed below are the Taisabaki requirement of 'must knows' for grades - remember, knowing the taisabaki does not entitle you to a grade!!!
Aside from this you must have:
- Strong basics for the level you are attempting.
- Strong kumite for the level you are attempting
- Good understanding of principles for the level you are attempting
